d2w Posted March 14, 2019 Report Share Posted March 14, 2019 (edited) There's no "right" or "wrong" position, but the two forks/folks need to be equal. Sliding the forks up the triple clamp will slightly increase the rake and make the bike turn a wee bit "faster" (but be a bit more "twitchy" when trying to go straight). And the converse is true when the forks are pushed down the triple clamps. I believe the top of the fork >tubes< should never be lower than the top of the triple clamp. misscrabstick Posted March 16, 2019 Report Share Posted March 16, 2019 You got options to move them up or down a bit to alter the way the bikes steering and weight feels (if anyone was that sensitive, not sure I'd notice a difference), because one fork is spring and one is damping they don't sit at the same heights when off the bike, just undo the clamps and make them equal heights.
