trialtrial
Anyone know of a cheap substitute for the TR280 fuel cap until I get a proper replacement? Up here in the GNW ordering parts take a long while to get here. Kinda need one by Saturday. Sheesh thats two days away. Does the Beta EVO fit? richardgg
Just checked in the shed and Beta Evo doesn't ft ? If it helps Ossa thread diameter is 27mm give or take a little and Evo is 32. Both have a 3mm thread pitch. cheers, R

faussy
A cork, a block of balsa, a ball of masking tape, a cut down exhaust bung, they are just threads so should be pretty easy to seal Edited October 4, 2019 by faussy
trialtrial
Richard - thanks for checking and the specs. Lineaway - I will look into TRS.
pauls320
Not sure if it would seal around the threads good enough..but how about one of those rubber expandable frost plugs, they come in different sizes?? May leak around threads enough to vent if not over torqued ? Edited October 4, 2019 by pauls320
