rcgods
RCM Trialsport do one on ebay listing is "Beta evo Brand new reinforced thicker sump guard 8mm 2009 - 2019 + 2x rear bolts" Easy to fit and shaped well. So much thicker than the standard one. Does not have any place for steel pawls like you see on the CSP sump plate. Depends if you need the extra grip on the sump plate too. Designed and used (so the advert says) by Toby Martin. Edited November 6, 2019 by rcgods
pjw123
Nothing wrong with the original. I've had several Beta & ride in N Yorks, where rocks are prevalent. Never had any bother. Save your money. Beta is the no1 top seller for good reason. Everything is tried & tested.
lineaway
The best bet would be to learn to ride proper, the sump should not be hitting.

lineaway
Ha! I sure hit it in my last section Sunday. That 5 moved me from third to 5th. I have only replaced 1 skid plate on a Beta since 1990, and that was on a bike 3 months old. Previous owner was an up and coming Pro rider.
pjw123
The Lycra boys don't even need a front wheel these days, never mind a sump guard.
luct4
Thanks, the RCM sump guard seems to be nice and not so expensive like the S3 one. I think i'm going to try it out. RIde proper....first learn to ride for me Greathings, Luc
