gizza5
Ran all my Beta's on 75:1 on full synthetic oil. 50:1 is a bit too much oil
charliechitlins
I've been liking 80:1 because it's 4 ounces in my 2.5 gallon gas can. Easy to remember.
trialsrfun
Stay with the gallons Charlie they switched us to litres and now we pay about the same per litre as you do for a gallon.
brian r
I'm like Charlie, the drug store gave me a little 4 oz. cough syrup bottle that's perfect for mixing. Most of the time I only go to 2 gallons though and leave room for sloshing to help mix it. So I run richer than some, but my son's on a Rookie and it tends to get it's, um ti ah well lets see here, oh, it's get's run at a higher RPM more often than my bike does. tony
Lampkins recommend 70:1 PJ1 semi synthetic we have used this for the past 4 years on 4 new betas never had a problem.
trialsrfun
We too run our Betas at 70-1 (50-1 while running in) on Silkolene semi-synthetic pre-mix, I know loads of you run with fully synthetic oils but my understanding of it is that a trials bike does not run at a high enough rpm to maintain a sufficiently stable engine temperature to enable a fully synthetic oil to do its job properly.
