IAN O’Keefe
Hi All, As a new member to the site I am hoping someone can help me with a dilemma. I’m presently restoring a 240 pro and have just started stripping the motor down to find that the spur gear on the back of the clutch is badly worn. I understand it is a common problem on this engine, but does anyone have any solutions? It seems that the clutch basket is unobtainable? It would be a real shame that I have to stop the restoration here because of this issue, unless anyone out there has a good clutch basket they are willing to sell. Comments and suggestions welcome.
