Mark Wall
I need to replace my rear mudguard on my late model MAR, the one with the angles dampers, I am seeking an original or a suitable replacement without resrting to a typical mudguard. If there is any onfo on whom can supply or sell me one, please. Thanks Mark

Mark Wall
Thanks, he only lists generic types, which I may have to fit, I was looking for a copy of the orignal, thanks you very much for the advice.
jonboy883
Trouble is the old Ossa's stopped being produced in the 80's and Holdens, the importers, didn't do a bike shop etc. so they went and there was no stock, unlike some of today importers who are dealers too and carry stock, going back a bit. trialsrfun
For my bike pictured above I used two of the short mudguards sold by in motion Bultaco. You will need to trim the length of the lower guard to get the right length.
Mark Wall
That looks good, thanks, just one point, when you say 2 short guards, is that two piece affair for the rear, sorry to be thick. Once sorted, I will get them ordred.
woody
The green guards are Gonelli and they are quite short. Originally used on '78 Bultacos. Positioning the rear guard so that the rear end is in the right place means that the front edge only reaches to just under the seat so you need a second lower guard to get a full length. The original Ossa guards fitted up to the black framed TR77 were full length, not sure about the length fitted to the green TR77 as they inevitably broke so I've never actually seen an original in one piece... The translucent rear guards from In Motion are longer than the Gonelli guards

Once sorted, I will get them ordred. https://www.inmotiontrials.com/product/universal-rear-trials-plastic-mudguard-many-colours/ These are the ones I fitted You may be okay with this type https://www.inmotiontrials.com/product/universal-long-stilmotor-pair-mudguards-grey/ These are full length, they have a slower curve then the Goneli These https://www.inmotiontrials.com/product/universal-translucent-plastic-mudguards/ were on their stand at Telford in February and looked good, the rear is a little shorter than the stilmotor but that is a long guard so this rear guard could possibly be a good fit for your OSSA. The mudguard mountings on the bike are normally 6mm diameter I drill the guards 5.5mm then use 5mm bolts it allows for a bit of adjustment.
