Paulo707
Hi, finally got excuse to join trials fun having inherited a late 92 Beta Zero 260 Jordi T signature bike. Heard all the Joy's of being a Beta owner. Hopefully it'll lead to adding a more recent trials model to weekend garage which has always been Enduros, but the Beta will be a sentimental resto. Came with Techo fronted and the original boxed up (assuming the following being very reason). Want to restore with the forks, labelled up as GT32 (Paioli 36mm USD), but the top cap is done up FT even though still sitting way out of the uppers and brass adjustment screw too soft to attempt impact driver. Anyone familiar with internals and can say whether its safe to continue wrenching on the cap ... whether adjustment screw needs backing off completely (or even removed) beforehand ... etc .. last thing I need is the sheer anything?! Pre-load stanchion came apart like a dream.
