WheelieKid
Hi, Just a quick hello. Middle aged trials hero wannabe here. I have recently got back into trails after my wife bought me an 01 Sherco 2.9. I have upgraded my son, of 7, from a PW50 to a Sherco 0.5. My wife was fed up of watching us all ride round so she sold her 02 GSXR 600 and bought an 09 Beta 2t 250 Evo which has come with issues and thats why i have found your site. I am the home mechanic and its my job to keep them all running, luckily my Sherco has been a right trooper and not thrown up any issues and has enabled me to get a lot of riding time in after being put on Furlough. I'm glued to YouTube technique videos and my riding has come on leaps n bounds, literally, within the last 4 months. We recently sold our car in order to buy a van so we can all get out and about and we have never all had so much fun. We have a local field that we can pop down too which is handy but its not got many hills and is predominantly flat, this has made me concentrate on my flat ground skillset, balacing, wheelies, stopping, bouncing, bunny hops etc. We have a little wooded area near my parents that is perfect for starter trials with the little one and more recently have started going to Nant Ucha in North Wales. I see a wealth of information on this site and hope to pick your brains on a few Beta evo topics. Many Thanks Kev

section swept
You are a seriously lucky chap to have such a thoughtful wife, great pictures but a word to the wise that I hope you will take as well intended. Showing, parking your bikes on the driveway in a perfect world utopia. Unfortunately our world is blighted by scrots and toe rags that will see your cherished rides and nick them when you are in or out. My mates had his garage broken into twice by removing the roof tiles and getting in passed the security alarm fitted to the door, they nicked s nearly new quad bike....guess what they were after the second time...yep the insurance replacement quad....now stored elsewhere. I hope you are not targeted, if any of the light fingered brigade are viewing this web site they now know what van to follow to your address, or to break into. Sorry but someone had to say it. You must rate as the best Dad in the world judging by the look of your lad on his bike??

You must rate as the best Dad in the world judging by the look of your lad on his bike?? It is a constant concern for me made worse by Jermey Kyle contestants constantly walking past. I have come to terms with it unfortunately. I have no other access to my garage other than the outside garage door and with my other bikes in the garage I have to put everything on the drive in order to have space to work. Its become the daily thing that everyone just stares in my shed. Cctv. Alarms. Chains. But if they want in there is nothing I can do. The aim is to move soon. Thanks for your kinds words.
