Tomm156
Hi all, I have been looking for a pair of trousers to wear when riding, looking around at All big makes they all remind me of woman’s leggings! Can anyone recommend a looser fitting pair? I did think of motocross trousers but worry they wouldn’t have the stretch. Something about wearing skin tight trousers doesn’t apeal thanks
Creepytheclutchmaster
Be brave go for a full body suite ?, try some downhill mountain bikeing trousers abit lighter and stretcher than motocross trousers, abit thicker than trials trousers, look in leasure lakes bike shop.
timdog
Jitsie omnia pants, still stretchy and comfy but not skin tight spray on, I bought a size up from usual and they are loose enough
millwright
Scott leathers do a cordura loose fitting trials trouser.
jonboy883
I use UFO enduro/MX trousers. They have a Lycra panel in them, so stretch well and are quite loose fitting also. Got them from MD Racing in Yeovil, really good value. Wulf sport do some as well. I am, as I suspect a lot of us are, too old for the full spandex/Lycra outfit, and at my standards, it may be the only thing that looks the part as my riding will undoubtedly let the whole impression down. ChrisCH
I also have MX trousers (they were gifted to me so might as well use them). They are fine. If it is warm and dry I just use my work trousers, there are lots of them about in Wickes or Screwfix type places.
breagh
Mx trousers for me as I like to wear a sturdy pair of knee protectors (Fox dh MTB) these days. Fantastic when you smash your knee of the kickstart or similar. 2

Why does trials gear design/graphics need to look like the side of an ice cream van? Hands up who actually thinks trials gear looks any good....??

michael_t
I have a pair of these that I like as they have knee protection built in (and don't make me look fatter than I already am). About — Up and Over Trials
rr62
The absolute irony is opening this page and there’s an ad for Rapha (totally overpriced Lycra for road cyclists). Maybe they do a trials range too...
jonnyc21
I second the Up and Over Trials pants. They might be a little more to get outside of the US but might be worth it if your really wanting something that isn't skin tight. http://www.upandovertrials.com/pants
