See this??? From www.motogp.com

"The 250cc World Championship is set to welcome a new manufacturer in 2005, after the announcement that Italian trial and motocross firm Fantic Motor are set to enter their own road racer.

The project will be overseen by experienced engineer Franco Moro, with 17 year old Italian rookie Gabriele Ferro confirmed as one of the riders and discussions underway with former 125cc World Champion Arnaud Vincent for the second seat.

Moro, who has worked for Aprilia since 1992 with riders including Max Biaggi, Tetsuya Harada, Loris Capirossi and, most recently, Alex De Angelis, revealed that Fantic are planning to enter the 250cc series with two twin cylinder bikes constructed at the engineering department of CRP Technology.

Oh my god!!!! Nothing like starting on an easy project eh?? I wonder how much all that is costing them? Although I am very pleased to see this I am kinda wishing they had maybe started with dirt bikes and built up some sort of business before taking on the might of GP racing like KTM have done!

Still good luck to them I hope it works!

Maybe the new Fantic Trials bikes will have a bit of a extra feature sitting on top of the Fuel tank ???? ;)

Would be useful on a winter trial inbetween the sections !!

Joking apart, my first bike was a 96 Fantic Section and I aint ridden anything since that even comes close in the Engine department !
