lineaway
Looks to me like someone needs to try a new name instead of reviving a dead horse, again ,again then again. Don`t get me wrong I loved the Ossa I bought from Elliot Shultz during a trials school of his. Edited February 1, 2004 by lineaway
charliechitlins
Elliot Shultz pops up again. Met him around 1977 in western PA. Awesome rider. I showed up a couple days early for a MX school, and he had just finished a trials school. Got me a TY 175 soon after.
charliechitlins
And, yeah...if it's not really an Ossa, and people are just trying to cash in on somebody else's name and reputation, it would be a shame. The last 2 American motorcycle companies to do that (Excelsior and Indian), have both gone tits up. Hopefully, we'll all be pleasantly surprised. jaylael
If it's green and white with clover leafs embossed into the engine cases it would have to be totally cool. Maybe yellow would do. If it's anything like a real Ossa it would be front heavy, plow in turns and have noisy exhaust. Still the cool factor is off the map. outlaw dave
Hey Jay, If you like Ossa's so much, why not pick up one of the MAR or whatever, and come to ride the OUTLAW TWO DAY in Western Canada - these bikes are always right up there in the awards and even though they suffer a tad in the high tech dept: they always do well. In fact there are two events that you could ride one is Steve Fracy's April 3rd/4th and the 2nd is the Original Outlaw held every year for the past 16 years on the Canadian May long weekend in Summerland BC - Hell we even have Mick's picture engaved on the Trophy..... aye Outlaw Dave

jaylael
Outlaw Dave: I have two Ossa Mar trials bikes. Trouble is they are in pieces and I haven't put one together, yet. I would love to come to both of these events. Can I get on the mailing list for these events? e mail is butterpie@bigplanet.com
fatbikedude
Outlaw Dave: I have two Ossa Mar trials bikes. Trouble is they are in pieces take it you've just not put them together again after the last trial. I remember the 'yellow grippers' you could tell where they'd been by the bits that fell off them Hear that Fantic are also making a comeback - now that WAS a good bike

subira
Looking forward to seeing people wearing bright green gear again Edited February 3, 2004 by Subira
subira
Or... Hope it's nothing to do with my rumour that I started on another site about the T(rials)-Ossa that was being launched this year. (4-stroke water cooled, aluminium frame, etc) Unfortunately that was pure fantasy induced by too many Cobra's with my curry Edited February 3, 2004 by Subira
gaff
Subira, ya g*t. That was you was it, some thing about two big Japanese MX companys (one in Green, one in Yellow) supplying engines. I was getting all excited about it, actually considered selling all my bikes to try and get one of the first ones out. Gaff.
