subira
Hmm, sorry about that. I was even thinking about Photoshopping some stuff to make the bike ! But what a great idea, how about Kawasaki and Suzuki getting back into the sport. The new MX 250 4-stroke joint development has a compact bottom end that's just ripe for a bit of trials development - me thinks. If a TTR125 can be made into a trials iron then ......... The CR250F bottom end might be the basis for the new Monty, have a look at one and it doesn't take much to see it wrapped in a nice italian alloy frame, with the Showas and AJP bits. Just fantasy unfortunately...
gaff
Subira, an interesting idea of Suzuki getting back in, they supply engines to CCM, who themselves produced some very nice bikes using BSA B40 engines, and later when they became Armstrong using both the Hiro and Rotax units. Imagine a British CCM trials bike with a thump of a Suzuki. Gaff.
rabie
Suzuki and doing any more joint projects with Kawasaki after the 250f, they didn't get on too well and the 450f is being developed seperatley.......... rabie
neonsurge
Imagine a British CCM trials bike with a thump of a Suzuki. Problem is, the DRZ engine that Suzuki supply to CCM for their 404 model probably weighs more than a modern trials bike on it's own!
gaff
Who said anything about DRZ engines, i suppose i was thinking along the lines of Yamaha developing the TY engine into the TYZ, for instance, could the new L/C 4-stroker be termed as a TYZ-F ? Then is it plausible for Suzuki to develop a new engine called the RL-F ? Time to wake up and go to bed. Gaff.
rabie
do Suzuki build a small engine ??? would it be economical to develop one and would there be a buying of sufficient units to justify the R&D ??? NB the cost of the 250 4 stroke MX...... rabie
