T0tally
Hi, first post here. I have a 2007 gasgas txt 300 pro, I dont know if I have a leg like a donkey or if I'm really just a jackass. I have a knack for kicking the kick lever off of bikes, all bikes; I promise I try not to do this. So onto my question finally, what are the most durable kick levers I can find for this bike? I heard steel ones are frowned upon but the aluminum one that was on the bike bit the dust the second day I owned it. It may have been just fatigued but I'd rather just not ever question such a simple, yet integral, parts reliability again.
richt
Quite certain there are only 2 available; genuine GasGas and RQF. Both are made from Aluminium. Re-assuringly expensive.
d2w
Sorry to hear. But if you're imparting enough force into your kick to break the lever, you had best check the kick start mechanism and "Bart Simpson" gear and the idler gear; they're notoriously delicate and don't take to being abused.
