wonder boy
Right i'm thinks of a swap of bike in 2005 and am looking at Sherco. The only point that puts me off buying a Sherco is it's frame. The Montesa has a solid, strong frame but to me the Sherco looks to have a week frame around where the shock and where the back mud guard sites. Gavin Can you give me your view on you Sherco frames

trials lad
Hi I don't think the strenth of the frame really matters unless you are doing world class trials riding.... like 7 ft drop offs you know stuff like that Unless you do Danny
charliechitlins
The Sherco frame is plenty strong. The world-level guys use stock frames with no problem. The frame can dent of you slam it on a stone...I've done it...but with no ill effects.
sherco pete
i guarante for the club riding we do gavin you will have no trouble with the frame!they are as solid as any frame it mite not have the beef the montesa frame does but its just as strong and looks wayway better polished! jimmyk
The Montesa looks stronger / beefier because it is aluminum and the Sherco is steel. It takes more aluminum to make the frame as strong as the chrome moly that the Shercos and others use. Rest assured that the frame is plenty strong.
