cocacola Posted February 14, 2006 Report Share Posted February 14, 2006 (edited) Hi , i have a sherco 2004 - just brought it! the bloke b4 me said the plates have done 4-5 hours, i am finding the clutch is really biting - jumping! i have taken the cover off the clutch and the basket has movement - would this cause it to jump?? should there be any movements of the basket? chris Posted February 15, 2006 Report Share Posted February 15, 2006 Hi Yes the basket should move a bit, if you have a look at the attached drawing you'll see the basket is mounted on to rubber buffers things. I'm guesing you have come off a older bike and probably the clutch slipped a little before biting, you should get used to it I think and if the clutch plate are that new they will get better for you with use.
