OK I've measured it at 82mm

Your picture looks like it's exactly the same size so the good news is it looks like they use the same one on the 1.25 > 2.9 models throughout.

I got this guy's details from the person I bought the bike off, who has had 6 shercos and had to have a stator rewound before, his email quote below:

"I made enquiries and found the best and cheapest method is to go through a guy in Spain, who is English but emigrated a few years ago to enjoy the sun but also to work with Leonelli ignition in Barcelona to help with development work. I phoned him and he arranged to send me a modified stator straight away and I sent off my unit at the same time. Cost was about
