Pioletblau
Hello, I got this forks for Tiger Cub, Marzocchi 34 mm, guess on Norton sliders. Modified Cub yokes. Lenght from wheel spindle to top of stanction 28.7 "/730 mm. The bike has original frame. I would need help about changing oil, because i feel them too slow. What type, 5w or 10w, and what volume in each fork? My weight is 154 lb (75 kg). Many thanks!!!
millwright
Try 5w and raise the level a little it will soften them up and the raised level will help stop them bottoming out.
teamferret
I would say 5W too. Start by taking out the springs and filling with oil until 175mm from top
Pioletblau
Hello, Many thanks for the advice. I understand levelling the oil with the forks bottomed, and then adjusting the caps with the forks extended. Best,
