tsiklonaut
Just seeing that part of Termignoni exhaust turning mat where my leg touches it off the footpeg - in dirty conditions my boots will work like a sandpaper against that carbon-fibre surface wearing it down. I wonder has anybody found a way to protect this part, some heat-resistant sticker to put on maybe? mattv6
You can buy a mitani carbon cover that will protect your termi silencer. I have on on mine, and even have some carbon look sticker to protect the protector! Lasted 6 years well and hasn't worn through yet.
tsiklonaut
Cheers guys, looks like ideas worth exploring. I've already put some transparent tape on and mapped out the "hot zone" (bottom of the Termignoni carbon fibre lump). Will see how this holds up and if not, then I'll seek into Mitani solution. Thanks again!
