Andyallen
hi I currently have a gas gas txt pro (2002) that i have up for sale. if it dosn't sell I was toying with the idea of fitting the front end and rear wheel from the gas gas onto the TY i've only had a brief look but the rear hub on the gas gas seems to be wider, by about 15mm, i was thinking i could get the hub and the disc stay arm machined down to fit. The front end would probably fit if i pressed out the steering stems and replaced the TY one in the gas gas forks? also i would need to mount the rear brake res somewhere has anyone else done anything similar? at the moment nothing is set in stone but i was just mulling over the possibilites many thanks andy
bambam_n_chunx
Get the right bearings and a 4mm spacer and its plug and play for the front end. I had the rear rim re drilled and built onto the original yam hub. Difficult to do but possible or send it to sids wheels for a proper job Edited June 1, 2022 by bambam_n_chunx
