mudplugger124
I have a 2022 125cc GP. The last trial I rode at the weekend. The clutch got very heavy to pull in. And then it would get light again, the clutch still worked OK either way. What would cause this or is it normal.
carl ekblom
I don´t think normal and it happened in a short period last weekend. I would investigate the cause of friction and find a remedy.
jackman290
That has so be frustrating on a brand new bike. Definitely not normal. Maybe the clutch drive/friction discs are catching on the clutch basket edges? Have you tried changing your transmission oil?
lineaway
Likely you do not have enough free play at the lever.

It is frustrating it was working fine until last week.
d2w
Check the basics first; How tight is the bolt which snugs the lever to the housing at the pivot point? Is something restricting that movement? Check the fluid level in the master cylinder.
mudplugger124
Thanks for all the help. I found it, the edge of the O ring had broke off and got stuck in behind one of the paddles. I will give it a good try tomorrow.
