robson
Hi, my GasGas 300 came with disconnected throttle cable at the lever, any info how to connect it? Do I have to open the housing there? thanks
UG_ALLSTAR
If it's a domino throttle then yes. Open the plastic housing via the hex bolts. Hook the ball into the throttle cam and reassemble. Don't overtighten, just snug.
cleanorbust
Make aure you test the cable after refitting it by turning the handlebars fully to right and left, engine not running. As you shut the throttle you should hear a click as the slide bottoms in the carburettor. If you don't hear this, you need to dial in a little slack on the cable with the adjuster on top of the carb. If the cable isn't bottoming properly the engine revs will race on start-up.
robson
Below on the pics is the TB Domino housing what I'm asking about, is there a cover I can pop up or unscrew everything?
faussy
No need to take the hex bolts out. Pull up on the tab just to the left of the d in 'domino'.

tony27
The cover is meant to just clip in place, close the throttle & fit the cable with the last piece to go in being the outer casing into the housing. Test that the cable is working properly before refitting the cover
