TonyT
This maybe a stupid question, but how do you tell the difference between a 125/250 by looking at it? a gas gas txt pro for example with no stickers. Is there any obvious differences?
rotors7
I can't give you an answer on that, but I once bought a "240" JCM monopro from a well known dealer, got it home and stripped it, only to find an unusually large piston within. It was a 323, I wasn't too happy. So it's not a stupid question !
mcman56
Some bikes have the engine size cast into the barrel. I think Sherco did that. The 2.9 was 270 or maybe 272. I have seen some Gas Gas cylinders with a 28 cast in. Is that 280 cc?
cascao
Rear sprocket size will be a good start point
TonyT
Yeah so I’ve recently found the engine has GG25 cast into it so I guess the 125s have different markings
lineaway
Pull the front header pipe, you should be able to get a rough measurement of the bore.
