The whole thing is simple to use and will offer protection to the tank in a fall as well. The unit itself is in three pieces and assembled around the tank. I have made two versions both a three piece kit to put together around the tank. The differance is amazing. The guy I originally made it for paid a dealer to rebuild the bike and they had about four attempts to get it right and as soon as the first tank of fuel had the paint off in a week. He now has the red version I made on the tank and thinks it looks great. It was his idea to try to market the idea. I'll try to get a picture on again.
