atomant
Try and keep this on topic please boyz Bigwig, when I was talking with you at Nantmawr, you said you may ?? be looking at one for a Sherco as the tank is diddly squat on mine and regardless of just using it for a long event, I would like to use one for regular trials... Whats your thoughts? Cheers Ian
uhoh7
This subject is killing me. I'm looking for more than 3.5 litres. The 4.51 litre alu tank does not seem available outside france. There was even a rumor at one point of a 7 litre tank. Such a ubiquitous design at this point, you would think a tank would easy to come by. The plastic one looks awesome: just wish it was bigger. I'm looking for more too for both my 280 and my new 300EC which I will pick up this weekend. I'll be getting the larger Clark tank too, but I'll probably be looking for some kind of vessle to hold a couple more litres, which i can use for the 280 as well. Have you seen the 1.1 litre tanks that mount where the numberplate goes? I want a little more than that, but its one method to get another litre you wanted. http://www.trialspartsusa.com/pages/2003/for-bike.html

I have 2 new motorcycles and we have the biggest winter since 1974 and we may top that. It's ridiculous. It's the 23rd of march, we have had no thaw and it snows every week: skiing is incredible. But the high country we crave to ride is buried!!! The good news is 1.5 hours from here it's dusty and the bugs are out. I got to ride my pro for the first time off snow. What a sweetie! SO smooth and light as a toy. Got all fired up all over again. I've seen the "plate" tanks, but most seem only to be a litre. I am wondering about range. Lets say a YZ250F will go 50 miles on 2 gallons. How far will a pro go with the stock tank? The carb is alot smaller so I would think it would go further per gallon. I know I know, it's meant for sections, but the sections I really want to ride are UP THERE. Anyway I am gaga over the thing. But I need a tank. Hope lewissport will come through. Here is the email I got back from france: hi, we sold plastique additional fuel tank (put on the hand bar) of 1 liter. also, we have aluminium fuel tank with 4.5l capacity. For the seat, we have 2 small models: you can see this on web site: www.gasgas.fr At the moment we don't sold to particular, please contact a dealer in your country. thank for your mail best regard Herv
