johnnyboxer
Had a rare opportunity last weekend at the Coventry Classic Dirt Show to look at Eddy LeJeune's Works Honda 360 that he won his World Championship on in the 80's. It was a fantastic opportunity to get close and have a good look at this bike, which is a work of art............with plenty of magnesium/titanium parts and factory sandcast engine cases. Plenty of RSC/HRC factory touches and one of many superb bikes at this great show. Here's some pics for those unlucky not to go to the show. the artist formerly known as ish
The 360 was unobtainium for the mere mortal, but the little Seeley, was a nice replica. Edited February 6, 2004 by ishy
terry
Where did the Seeley bikes come from? I don't know much about the history of trials bikes but I love the older stuff. Thanks for posting the pictures.
johnnyboxer
Beautiful bike! Great restoration. Thanks for sharing Johnny. Any idea who owns it?Martin Belair US Montesa It was a Belgian guy............his name was on the attached photo board.........sorry can't remember his name. He bought it from Lejeune and is 'HIS' works bike from 1983. Somebody who was at show might remember the details. Don't think it was a restoration though............the bike looks as though it had been used...........but obviously by a very capable rider like Lejeune......therefore minimal 'wear & tear'.
