grib
Last weekend I rode a trial on my 03 GG Pro and, barring the twinshock class, it was probably the oldest bike there, it seems that a lot of people buy a new bike every year or two. lewis_gasgas
So i got told that if your going to get a new bike do it every year as it works out cheaper in the long run.
feetupfun
It takes me nearly a year to get a new bike going to its full potential so for me there is no way I would want to get a new one every year even if it did make economic sense (which it doesn't). Here the resale value of a well maintained trials bike which starts out at $9000 goes down about $1500 after one year and then goes down $1000 for each year after that until it gets to about $3500 where the value is mainly determined by condition of the bike.
