Simonelongus
Hello everyone It's been a while since I've posted and in fact I've relapsed!!! I bought back an Ossa , I was in love with it!! and from late 2012 so a 2013 even though it has the ECU marked still with 11 final. I'm writing because I have a problem, when the bike is nice and warm it shuts off on me, like it's running out of gas, it revs up as I ask and then drops goes up and then drops all the time. I don't know what to look at. Unfortunately I had sold everything kscan harnesses etc.... I can't tell if it stops getting spark or stops getting gasoline for a few moments. Thanks Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
konrad
You already know what to do. Get K-Scan again and see what historical errors are stored in the ECU.
Simonelongus
Thank you for your immediate response. The problem was the injection cable not making good contact!!! I hope that was all it was. I give you my best compliments for your efforts and the book you made!!!
Simonelongus
Found the problem and solved it at great expense!!! Eventually when the bike started to heat up the main bearings seized up. I gave and then gave again to figure it out until they really seized and I figured out where the problem was. The engine now has new bearings!!! Question: is it a 280cc is it normal that at low revs it runs poorly and as soon as it gets up a little bit of revs it suddenly shoots out power? I can't drive it much.... Is it a mapping problem or are they all like that? Thanks
larro
As konrad has said at least get your bike on the K-scan and start from there. It is what i must do on my bike if i can find someone to do it and then you know more about how your bike is running.
Simonelongus
Okay so I take it that this is not normal. I have to build the wire, now I'll get into it. Thanks

The 300 factory has a LOT of power as you run it up, but a regular 280 should be really nice ll along. I would suspect the TPS, but of course all the components work together. I suggest doing a compression test (throttle wide open, kick until gauge stops) and make sure it is good. Then get the cable (I can send software if you don’t have it anymore) and set everything up properly.
Simonelongus
Thank you, I will try to build the cable. I have many mappings that were given to me by the Italian importer. As soon as I build the cable , I will update you. Right now it's almost unrideable because at low revs it doesn't go it's very smooth, but as soon as it goes up the revs it goes off abruptly. Thank you.
