james111089
what about the noise from the motor? Also why would it start ok when its warmed up Many Thanks James
essex rider
When its warm everything will have been moving and be free, When cold everything gets going at once so will be harder (not sure but sounds like it is this) The noise could be anything- bearings, piston knocking etc
james111089
do you think its just the kickstart gear and it wont have damaged anything else?
james111089
If the noise is bearing spin should i turn the bike down? James
andy_290
Looks like a bargain and the guy's not hiding anything mate, at that price you can afford to put everything back to 100%
sherco 125
i had the problem with my sherco on the kick start its just the spring
how61
Most of the earlier Sherco`s have a very noisey clutch which is perfectly standard and is often misinterpreted as "engine noise". Start the bike and let it warm up then pull in the clutch lever, if most of the noise disappears then you just enjoy your bargain!!! regards Howard
husky
If at worst you had to rebuild the motor it still would be reasonable.Seller sounds straight,he says it goes well,if you get away with just sorting the kickstart its an absolite bargain,go have alook,he says you can walk away if you don't like it,can't lose is my view
