PapaLazarou
HI all This is my 1964 Tiger Cub TR20, which has been heavily modified (I was told by Comerfords) which I have owned since the mid 70's. It wasn't a runner when I bought it and since then various storage periods haven't been kind to it. I am now in a position to do it justice and a full restoration. I am going to need advice on electricals, but the oily bits I am comfortable with having worked on various marques over the years. I have the handlebars but they have been removed for transportand ease of storage. Wil certainly be seeking advive as time goes by. Thanks for looking
trapezeartist
What Comerfords did back in the day and what people do today to make a pre-65 competitive are two entirely different things. But have fun and build the bike you want.
PapaLazarou
Many thanks for the reply. I have since learned from Mike Powell that my bike wasn't a Comerfords, but appears to be heavily modelled on one. The forks are Ceriani which Comerfords didn't use and the tank is different, but otherwise it looks the same. I am in no way disappointed, I just like knowing the history of my machines. Now starts the fun business of restoration and having a nicely turned out bike that I can be proud of.
