Upgrade/replacement throttle 21

My old 21 Escape R apparently has had some throttle damage. I remember reading here someplace that a replacement (Domino?) has been used with good results and the quality was better (stock was not great).

I cannot find it, please help if anyone knows.

(Note, I no longer own the bike, just helping owner out).

If he does not want to pay the OE price and does not mind doing some wiring, this look similar: https://www.electricmotorsport.com/domino-twist-grip-throttle-with-microswitch.html

I think this was the original thread.

That link says for mid-22 and up…does it fit 21?

I just added some content on the Domino throttle here: https://www.electricmotiontech.com/home/em-epure-race/wiring-diagram#h.art3jj7bkav4

It appears the Domino throttle EM is sells as a spare part will just plug into the early wiring harness. It has two JST connectors, one of which is for the unimplemented switch.

I had a 2021 and upgraded to the Domino with an aftermarket unit, by wiring up the connector myself, as in the photo above.

To your question about "22 and UP", that is because the one from directly from EM comes with two connectors on it. My understanding is that it will still work on the 2021 as you just use te main connector, and second one just remains unused, as it feeds a connector the 2021 does not have.

Yes, it does work on a 2021. I did it with mine.
