wiltshire_boy
Clutch plates and spacers arrived this morning and the part numbers seem to be different from the 04 and 05 part numbers so i assume that they are from the 06? 04 & 05 = MT280232051 (fibre discs) and MT280232050 (steel discs) 06 (?) = MT280432055 (fibre and steel discs) Who knows? i'll stick 'em in and see how it goes. perce
Extreme thirsty Well this is my first change of a clutch on a bike with a hydralic activated clutch. The local dealer told me that the water need to get of and that I don't need to take the clutch fluid out. My bike is a TXT280 from 05. So I don't need to empty the bike for water and clutch oil? Reading on this topic it seems that everybody has problems with the clutch fluid when they change the clutch... why? if they don't need to empty the bike for clutch fluid. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think these topics need merging:- http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/index....opic=8346&st=15 IKB describes what you need to do, certainly don't need to drain the water off. Suggests that there are only two different types of clutch plates.
