Hi guys

I posted once or twice before, when looking for a bike

now I want to say 'hello'

after 20+ years of momentum-off-road

I finally got a trials bike

no, got two trials bikes

a project TLR200 Reflex and an 03 2.9

now I am at your mercy, guys

please, everything I do on the bikes feels sort of 'wrong'

you MUST teach me how to trial, please

OK, not teach but help with pointers,

lot's of pointers, maybe?

thank you soo much

I'll proceed and post a ton of bike questions

thank you for your patience

ev

like, bring your bike down and I'll show you how to fall off properly!

am on the right path already,

but Ryan Young is a bit too  advanced?

he spends 5 minutes on basic turning

guess it'll be a while to suppress the impulse to slide down-forward and get that leg out in a turn or to keep that outside knee from pushing the bike down ... all the things I practiced over and over to turn them into a reflex ;)

I promise to be patient and do basic drills until I throw up

hit up a few events if possible

is that mandatory, Half a tire Right? :D

5 years ago I swore no more competiton and only got talked into one since

 An ex-pat (expatriate)is someone now living outside their home country.

I have another suggestion : Contact Brock Sattelmeier of TrialZone Atlanta

Mail;brock.w.sattelmeier@lmco.com.

Ask about his next club trial, ask about joining his club.Take yourself and your

bike to the trial. You'll find lots of people willing to give advice.

Not mandatory to attend,I like to study differant riders technique through out skill level.Being a old fart an "very" new to the sport myself, watching others and training vids helps me find a happy medium in my training.I don't know what level your at,but if your just begining,In my opinion you (have)to balance 1st!it's not gonna happen over nite,it took me a few day's,,engine off, leaning against a tree for hr's getting frusrated then it just comes and feels natural, then starting and stopping in gear with engine running.Once you've feel confident you can balance then move on to a little hopping.Good Luck! ;)
