ev..
Hi guys so far I used a lot of momentum and a CRF250 now I got myself a TLR200 Reflex '87 everything works not great, more redneck-mint, but the bike is ridable the engine seems healty, starts at 1st kick and puills strong but the stoppers sorry, I am used to some 'negative acceleration' when I pull the lever here I hear a 'clunk' but there is no real slowing down the rear end does not work much better I had both ends apart, the brake shoes looked to be in good condition, so I roughened the surface a little, cleaned the drums, lubed the pin, adjusted the cable/rod but did not achieve much improvement is there a trick to turn drum brakes into actual stoppers or will I have to live without brakes? thanks ev Edited April 10, 2006 by ev..
