beta_basher Posted April 17, 2006 Report Share Posted April 17, 2006 (edited) Whilst riding today, someone noticed I had no cap on the left side of the swing arm and it was showing the nut. He noticed the nut was loose so we tried to tighten the bolt with a ratchet but the threads on the swing arm pin and nut where knackered. Swingarm axle Part No. C154, along with the nut M310 (M14), shouldn't cost more than 20 for the pair ..it's the plastic plugs that are expensive! Dont use too much torque (37ft lbs) as the steel nut will pull the threads off the alumium swingarm axle with ease. Remember to use lots of grease/antiseize, and align the hole before you push the new one through, or else you risk damaging the new threads.
