fordson major
I've had a 26" trials push bike for 2 years and I have a muck about on it about twice a week. It seemed to be more suitable to buy a 26" bike than a 20" 'cos I'm 6ft2 but I had a go on a 20" mission bike last weekend and it seemed easier to hop about than my bike. So... what I'm asking is which is better for me to practise on for motorcycle trials? Also ,it seems a daft question but.. are the 26" bikes more prone to pinch-flats (when the tube is pinched against the rim 'cos of low tyre pressure) than 20" bikes? Suppose it maybee depends on the make of the tyre and sidewall strength Cheers in advance for any replies Rob Edited April 29, 2006 by Beta120690
essex rider
i always thought that my 20" megamo felt more like my motorbike. Sooo much easier and as for the pinch flats i always found 20" wheels to be less of a problem than 26" Go for a megamo/monty as they are much better quality than any of the others
lewis_gasgas
Rob just stick some thicker wheels on made for trials and some better rims think you can get some flat ones with holes in so they are lighter.
sherco 125
most 20 inche bikes have chunkyer tyres and bashgaurds but many 26's dont have these
