jaylael
It sounds like a 1992 ('92 has blue cases) or 1993 (gold cases)contact. They are known for having ignition problems. I actually have an ign. module for one, which did not fix mine, but the most common problem is a bad stator coil. A certain motorcycle dealer in washington state (Skagit Powersports) has a guy there Gary L. who can rewind them. I am assuming you have ruled out a bad kill button or connections. magicmat
Found this one of jim snail, Thought it may help you identify your bike, dont recon much to the suit tho This is a 1992 Contact GT25, Its a 1992, because it doesnt have a chrome frame, and the carb intake goes into the barrel and not the crankcase, unlike the 1993 which does have these things, The gasgas museum is usually a good place to look for a pic and ID your bike, try there GG museum Right... back to the revision.... sigh..
