doogle
They are not to bad at Berko. Just give it a go and ride what you are comfortable with. Normally in the evening trials you mark each other as there is never enough (if any) observers. When is it? I may ride myself.

pete
The evening trials are usually a good place to try some new things, maybe different settings on your bike, and maybe even try riding up a route. My club has the 1st one tomorrow! Should be good fun - a midweek break!
rabie
depends upon the club, we put 4 on in the height of summer on wednesdays and run 4 routes (expert, inter, novice and wobbler)

essex rider
how easy are the wednesday night trials I imagine that they are quite difficult as unless you are a rabbit or eat lots of carrots you wont be able to see..........hmmmm glow in the dark markers No seriously the evening ones are apparently easier due to people taking less effort in riding (just want to get away from the missus)
scorpa3
We run an evening trial each year on a self observe basis. Riders may ride as many laps as they wish, only the first four count. If a group Experts wish to make a harder version of the section for themselves then thats fine too. We just wanted to run a practice session, but by the time we'd organised insurance permit permission etc, we may as well run a trial. So that's what we do. The beauty of self observing is that riders can turn up and just start any time between 5 and 7.30 with the sections being closed at 9pm sharp. It always works very well. neilnh
night trials are fine unless like me you are one of the lucky ones who goes away at work all week but whenever a trial is run its meant to be fun because thats why we do it
