bob
Hi, Does anyone have any specific torque specs for the bolts which you commonly do/undo. I can't see any in the manual, and i am abit of a novice as regards torque, loosey goosey or stripped are my two only settings. All I know is the flywheel is tight as F*%" Edited May 4, 2006 by bob
essex rider
but how tight should the security bolt be on my front tyre??? very tight, quite tight??? How does moderately tight sound?? If you email john lampkin or the beta factory i think you can get a list of the settings. However im going on holiday to italy and may pop into the beta factory so will pick up a list of torque specs and some goodies whilst there!! bob
I've heard that ducks butts come in a variety of tensions. Thanks, I'll go untill i hear a pop then back it off a qauarter of a turn as per usual. And I'll give lampkins a ring or drop them an email later next week when they aren't so busy. It would be really good Essex Rider if you could get your hands on some torque specs. I've found info for Beta's alot harder to find that with my old Sherco. It would've been sold before now if it wasn't for Tc. Cheers Bob
