nigel dabster
Well done to all the GB lads and of course to Alexz Wigg in particular as he has done the business by winning his first WTC event. Haven't had a chance to get to talk to anyone over there but I am so pleased that he seems to be getting the terrific results that he promised to do in the first few rounds. Good stuff. Gubian down in 8th aswell, even better!

Andy
We don't get mobile signal at the TTC, but phones worl in the "town" where we're staying. He should get it later. I thought it absolutely deplorable that the commentator announced Wiggy in third place on his first ever World win.

(and some others but theres a big gap in skill level from top to bottom) They were demolished by the equivalent world riders with a good ride by Cody Webb but still well off the pace. I fear theres some serious work for you guys to do before you have a worthy challenge to a world crown. Great second position for Dougie who's riding was much better than the result. Raga was on fire today and his second lap of 6 getting a 5 and 1 was pretty impressive when you look at the results of the other riders. talk later , gotta get off the shared computer

as iow
Great result from Alexz but this is a championship and there is a long way to go, the 20 points are more important than the win.
nigel dabster
Suit yourself, the king of the backhanded compliment If you want to examine championship points the best part of Alexz's win was the differential between him and last years runner up Gubian, which may be what you meant, but then again............ nigel dabster
Guess thats another win then or is it 20 points!
as iow
Great result again from Alexz, but It's a bit like Bou in the indoor rounds, like the best rider in the championship can't ride in all the rounds. So that hands Gubian the title on a plate, there has to be a way round this. Someone out there in the world must know how we can get Alexz to japan. Anyway, what better than 12 hour plane rides to do some serious revision Whatever happens, crackin rides this weekend Reg, good on ya. all the best from Team Challoner.
