joandemma
I have Gasgas 280 txt 02 and while cleaning my boots I noticed they are wearing through where rubbing on frame protectors, on inside of leg! Has anyone else had this problem or is it my riding style (stance). Have taken off plastic protector and moved gear lever down a notch on splines now to see if this helps. Can this hole be repaired by a cobbler if it gets too bad and leaks through. chris
It's more likely to be your chain causing the hole, trialscast make a guard to protect against this.
joandemma
No , do not think it is chain as it is too high up the boot, level with top of protector.

sparky-mark
my boot wore through in the same place. i worked it out to be the forward screw that holds the plastic chain guard on.
lennie
Thats what you get for buying a gasser, along with a frame made from old table legs.
lewis_gasgas
If you find that it isnt the chain and is where you stand then get your cobbler to put to extra pieces of leather on the boot for you it doesnt cost much either for it done and will save your boots.
