hoodie2
the guys that I ride with all use Hebo auxilliary fuel tanks fitted behind their front number plates. This gives us extra range when out on the moors. I didn't notice anyone using one in the SSDT and wondered if they are not permitted by the trial regulations. Anyone know? totalshell
i thought i saw one on a gas gas at the ssdt although i had read on here 3 months or so ago thatt they were becoming hard to find as well, most gasgas riders seeemed to have stumped up for the long range tanks
monty-python
saw one on a mont last year at the ssdt. I think that's the last place you would want more weight, over the front wheel!
doogle
I really can't see how the small amount of extra weight would cause a problem. The front end of modern bikes these days are so light, I don't think you would really notice. 1/2 way round you can put the fuel in the bike anyway. They would be great for the Manx 2 day. No official fuel stops there just relying on meeting your van at the groups of sections. I would certainly buy one if I could get my hands on one, don't think they make them anymore though.
