dougie pumpkin
Protecta Theft in Rotherham do a theft only for non rad reg bikes, also Carole Nash have just started insuring off road bikes, both advertise in TMX .
martinh
MCE Insurance will cover your bike for fire and theft but from the home, butonly if you have home insurance with them. If your bike is road regsitered you should be able to get it insured no problems with most insurance companies. If not, then get in contact with Alexander Forbes Insurance or Protect-A-Bike insurance, as after lengthy research, these seem to be the only people doing inusrance for unregustered bikes. I did read somewhere that Carole Nash were doing the same, but don't know if they are or not - they certainly weren't around March time. Good luck! paul w
i was wondering on the subject of insurance, is it cheaper to register your bike and get tpft, or get one of these "off road only " policys? has anyone done a comparison?
martinh
I found that once I had registered my bike, the insurance was cheaper than an off-road theft policy only. Plus with a registered bike, you can insure it with a regular insurance company, and you get to build up your no claims. However, the process of registering the bike costs
