Whilst the bradford club won't be so speedy to upload the results!

Steve Lampkin's select 11 took a narrow but convincing win in last nights annual cricket match,

Bradford and dmc went to bat first, with Nathan Wrigglesworth and Ross Crosby opening the batting, a few keen shots were played, until wriggie was cooly caught and bowled by myself and little Gary (Beta uks Gary).

Kevin "Freddie Flintoff" Hickie quickly disposed of four batsmen in the space of 10 bowls, and the scene of Bradfords disposal was set.

1st lap was over and it was Bradford 108 all done.

Steve Lampkin sent out his promising batsmen (Tim McParland and Harry Lampkin) first, who were all disposed of in a matter of minutes, and it looked pretty grim, in fact you could sense a loss after 5 batsmen were out for a total of 7, but in true lampkin fashion, all the stops were pulled out.

With Rob Barber and Big Norm knocking the balls all over the field, Bradford couldn't match the skill and agility of our big sloggers. Steve Lampkin came back onto the field to record an impressive 40, (after a retirement at 25) and the team finally retired at 110 off 21 overs.

A big thankyou to all the players, and Mr and Mrs Arthur Lampkin for preparing the BBQ, and Sislden Cricket Club for there hospitallity.

It was a shame that we could not start the 2nd innings due to light as we were just about ready to peak. A great evenings entertainment was had by all.

Question: How many runs and/or strikes of the ball did you have Boyd?? Cant see the details in your report.
