as iow Posted July 2, 2006 Report Share Posted July 2, 2006 Chris Stay cleaned section 5 on his second lap but his back wheel touched the tape when he was jumping the bike around the final corner so he was given a 5 after what he thought was the first clean on that section. He was so upset that he rode the next section and forgot to get his punch card stamped, not one of the 6 remaining observers or Chris noticed this and he handed in his card with section 6 not marked. He was therefore given 10 points for missing the section, but still won his class by 1 point from Duncan mcDonald.
