the addict
Just bought one of these for the 06 Rev 3, great bit of kit, looks really strong and moulds around the Shocker. The standard one holed in about 2 hours as I'm sure all you 06 riders know about. Cost Edited July 5, 2006 by Betarev3

fordson major
My mud flap's never worn through but it has taken the paint off my rear shock. Does this mud flap go around the shock instead of rubbing against it?
the addict
Wraps round quite alot, better fit than the standard one as well
the addict
four hours of riding today, mud flap held up great, not even scuffed up, pretty sure the original only lasted 2 hours
betarick
I have gone through 3 of these mudflaps now on my 06 rev3. I have adjusted chain correctly and i have adjusted rear spring and shocker and still it wears through.IM not the smallest of riders but cant figure out why it keeps wearing through! neonsurge
I bought one of the "heavy duty" flaps as discussed at the beginning of this thread and I've almost worn a hole in it after 3 rides (which is a lot better than the stock one which I managed to hole after one hour!) I'm pretty sure it's to do with the chain cam adjusters - the closer the wheel is to the flap, the more likely it is to make contact. I'm kinda hoping my chain stretches a bit and I can adjust the problem away!
the addict
Neon, mine is starting to wear but not holed yet, amy try a 1 and a half link in the chain next week from BVM. Should do the trick I hope, will stop the wheel clogging up when the winter comes as well
