lesgamble
Hi there. From the photos on EBay it looks like one of the Godden framed TY 175/250 frames(Circa 1981-1982) There should be a photo of one if you follow this link and scroll down to post#7: http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/index....ic=4386&hl= I have a few pictures of other Majestys that I have farmed off the web in the last couple of years that if you want I can email to you. Searching the forums for Majesty can while away the hours and uncover a lot of good info too Cheers Les
scrumpyjack
Thanks for that Les, i am hard at it with the rebuild already!! .. the frame is already at the powder coaters.. its going to be done in chrome silver, i hope this colour will look ok, the engine needs a rod kit and mains and seals, also one crankcase needs a small repair... if all goes to plan i will ride it at bill pyes 3 day pre 65 and twinshock trial at the end of august ( is anyone else riding it? ) and maybe the lakes 2 day if it rides ok.. otherwise my trick fantic twinshock will have to be used.. Does anyone know if sammy millers one piece tank and seat unit will fit the godden frame?? as i think this will have to do for now if it fits.. Also it has a DT piston in at the moment,, is this the best piston to use?.. thanks: Scrumpy (remember a twinshock is for life..not just christmas )
majman
Fit a proper majesty tank/seat cobo from Craig Mawlam. They look fantasic and fit with no problem. If you have a majesty you need a majesty tank on it!
pitley
Best call Birketts to find the correct piston 01229 716806. Cheers
mikedabike
For what it's worth my opinion about seat and tank is with MAJMAN, the miller thing hardly fits the TY it was designed for let alone a real frame.
