The Captain's Trial, one of the best attended Pre 65 trials in the country, is a bit special in the YCMCC trials calendar. It is one of the clubs oldest trials and is unique, held in the Castle Carr Country Estate just as the trials were in the 50's and 60's.
With its moorland landscape it is one of the most scenic areas of the Pennines and has all the hills, streams, gullies and quarries needed for an excellent trial.
