The 'Red Tape' is a classic trial of a sporting nature for pre-67 and modern bikes. Its always an enjoyable trial with do-able sections and a good ride around.
The Trial will start at 10.30am. Riders will start in pairs at minute intervals and will complete two or more laps of 10 to 12 sections, without roadwork. The Observed Sections may be altered after the first lap. A special test of not more than 100 yards, details of which will be given to competitors before the start, will be used to decide ties. As the event is taking place on MoD land, trials tyres are required on the rear wheels of all machines
Classes A - Pre '67A Pre Unit Sprung B - Pre '67B Unit Construction includes two strokes C - Pre 65 Rigid D - Clubman - Any Machine (Harder route) E - Twin Shock F - Clubman - Any Machine (Easier route) G - Youth (Harder route) H - Youth (Easier route) NB: Classes A, B, D, E and G will ride the harder Red Route. Classes C, F and H will ride the easier Yellow Route.
