OK, IT'S SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND WE CAN CONFIRM THE TRIAL WILL DEFINITELY GO-AHEAD. THE LADS HAVE BEEN OUT PUTTING IN TEN SECTIONS, THE RIVER LEVELS HAVE BEEN DROPPING ALL DAY AND WHILST IT IS STILL GOING TO BE VERY WET THEY ARE CONFIDENT THAT ALL WILL BE WELL IN THE MORNING. OBVIOUSLY, PARKING AT THE ROADSIDE IS GOING TO BE A PROBLEM SO DON'T BE SURPRISED IF YOU HAVE TO PARK SOME DISTANCE AWAY FROM SIGNING ON, CATERING IS ORGANISED, BISCUITS FOR THE OBSERVERS ARE AVAILABLE AS WILL MOST OF THE VOUCHERS AND TROPHIES FROM LAST YEAR'S CLUB SERIES. SO JOIN US IN THE MORNING FOR THIS TRIAL WHICH ALSO FEATURES SOME CHANGES TO THE REGULAR SECTIONS.
With the club fortunate enough to be able to use several different trials venues in the Low Gill area between High Bentham and Slaidburn, it's the annual visit to Ivah Allotments, Low Gill for the first round of the club Sunday series on Sunday, February 26 with a 10.30am start. This venue has a good mix of stream and banking sections and as it is only used once a year, remains relatively fresh to riders. Catering will be available, and entries are taken at the start.
