SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
The Timperley Cup Trial
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Bradford & District Motor Club Limited will organise a Centre Restricted Trial on 12/2/2017, for solo motorcycles, run under the National Sporting Code, Standing Regulations of the ACU, the Yorkshire Centre Rules current at the time, the following Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions issued for the meeting.
(This event will count towards Yorkshire Centre Championships).
ELIGIBILITY:
Restricted to registered members of clubs affiliated to Yorkshire Centre ACU.
All riders and passengers must hold a current ACU/SACU Trials Registration Card or ACU/SACU Competition Licence. Any rider or passenger from another FMN must produce a licence issued by their FMN, together with start permission and proof of personal accident insurance.
MACHINES:
Motorcycles as per NSC Appendix D Category 1, Group A1 Solos and TSR 8. CLASSES: Adult; Expert, Intermediate, Novice, Clubman “A”, Clubman “B”, plus Youth Class “A”.
Class eligibility and the awarding of championship points will be as per Yorkshire Centre ACU Rule #7
Championship Course: THE FOUR CLASSES ARE: Expert, Intermediate, Novice & Youth; “A” Class (Championship) Clubman’s “A” Course: THE TWO CLASSES ARE: Clubman “A” & Non-Championship Youth “A”.
(Adults eligible to compete under the classification – Clubman “A” - are: O/45 Experts, O/45 Intermediates, Novices)
Clubman’s “B” Course: THE TWO CLASSES ARE: Clubman “B” & Non-Championship Youth; Class “A”.
(Adults eligible to compete under the classification – Clubman “B” - are: Novices)
Non Competitive: Participants may ride other courses on a non competitive basis.

ENTRIES / FEE:
Entries must be made on the official form provided and together with the correct fee, sent so as to reach the Secretary of the Meeting by 10th February 2017. Entry fees are; £20 for adults and £10 for youths.
This event is limited to a maximum of 90 competitors. Entries will be taken on a first come, first served basis and will close on the 10th of February, or once the entry limit has been reached; whichever is the sooner. However, please note that priority will first be given to those entering to ride the main Championship Course and thereafter to those entering to ride competitively in appropriate classes.
ENTRIES WILL NOT BE TAKEN ON THE DAY, OVER THE TELEPHONE, OR VIA EMAIL.
Cheques or money orders should be made payable to Bradford & District Motor Club Ltd.
Observers will be required and each “Official Observer” will be paid £10, either during, or at the conclusion of the event.
(When entering this event, anyone able to provide an Observer is requested to so inform the Secretary of the Meeting).
RESULTS: AWARDS:
Will be posted on the club website; www.bradfordtrials.com (Riders wanting hard copy results must provide a SAE).
PREMIER: Best Performance (On the main Championship course). The Timperley Cup * (*Replica/Award value £20).
1st Expert: An award will be given only if an “Expert” does not win the Premier award. (No rider to win more than one award). 1st Intermediate: The MCN Intermediate Cup. (To be held for one year). Replica/Award Value £20
1st Novice: The MCN Novice Cup. (To be held for one year). Replica/Award Value £20
Best Performance on the Clubman “A” Course: An award. Best Performance on the Clubman “B” Course: An award. YOUTH & PLACEMENT AWARDS IN OTHER CLASSES: Any awards given will be subject to the number of entries per class.
COURSE:
On private land & entirely off-road, the dual route combined course will consist of 2 laps of 20 sections or 3 laps of 14 sections. It is estimated that one lap will be approximately 3.7 miles in length. (Any subsequent changes will be announced in “Final Instructions”) Sections shall be ridden in the correct order on each lap and competitors risk exclusion if they fail to comply with this instruction.
The onus on finding the sections is that of the competitor; the route will be clearly marked and must be closely followed.
The course closure method will be announced on the day and may include a “latest closing time” for selected sections.
NOTE: This trial is held in a sensitive area. Any rider failing to follow the course, as marked or as otherwise directed, will be excluded.
METHOD OF MARKING & TIES:
As per TSR 22 B; (Non Stop). Ties will be resolved as TSR 23. PROTESTS: Protests as per National Sporting Code of the ACU, section 10.04
( NOTE: In line with National Sporting Code - Article 7.12 (*1); riders will be required to produce their current Competition Licence or Trials Registration when signing on at the start ).
